Description

The EPH model EPH-102C AMF control card a microprocessor-based control unit that is specially designed for Genset. It is used to start and stop the Genset in automatic or manual mode via a user-friendly auto/manual switch on the panel. The panel is provided with a DIP switch and four variables for different time settings.

In Automatic mode, EPH102C monitors the MAINS supply and automatically starts and stops the Genset. Once the generator is started, it monitors internal protections and external fault inputs like low oil pressure (O/S) and over-temperature (T/S). If a fault condition occurs, the unit shutdowns the engine automatically and indicates the fault condition, and the red light will start blinking.

If you wish to start the Genet manually, turn off the auto/manual switch on the board. This condition will be indicated by the associated LED.

The fault conditions are continuously monitored by the unit when the engine is running. The unit automatically shut down the engine as it finds any alarming condition in the Genset. These faults are identified with the help of LEDs on the front side of the panel.

The occurrence of below fault conditions will cause the engine to be shut down immediately.

• Fail to start
• High engine temperature
• Low oil pressure
• Under Voltage

If a fault condition occurs, the FUEL solenoid will be de-energized and the LED associated with this condition will turn on and the error LED will start blinking

If a fault condition occurs, the FUEL solenoid will be de-energized and the error light will start blinking.

Only one fault will be indicated by the LEDs which occurred first. After removing the fault, press the RESET button (micro switch on the panel) on the front panel.

The panel is provided with a DIP switch and three variables to adjust the time as per the requirement. The adjustable times are:

• Gen warm-up time
• Gen cool time
• Mains load time
• Choke time
